Kathmandu, July 20: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has issued whip to its all lawmakers to vote in favour of the no-confidence motion tabled at the Legislature-Parliament against the government.
A meeting of the CPN-MC’s parliamentary party held on Wednesday has directed the lawmakers to be compulsorily present in the Thursday parliamentary meeting. CPN-MC chief whip Hitraj Pandey informed that today’s meeting dwelt on the agenda of no-trust motion tabled at the parliament against the government.
The meeting has also urged all parties represented in the parliament and independent lawmakers to vote in support of no-trust motion.
Noting the current need of forming a national consensus government, the meeting decided to speed up holding parleys with other parties to that end.
